TO ALL CLUB’S:
Advice has been received from the Queensland Government that golf can be played again in groups of four (4) from Saturday the May 16.
This means that this is the only change to the current advice from the government and other matters such as social distancing ect. still apply.
Competitions can continue bearing in mind the advice on players marking their own cards, not handling the pins, not using rakes in the bunkers and no pin shots where multiple players could handle cards and measuring devices. Also one person per golf cart applies unless it being used by players who related and reside at the same residential address.
Also remember that sale and consumption of alcohol on licenced premises is prohibited. Take away sales only can be made.
Lets hope that if compliance with the current advice sees the community free of COVID-19 we can get back to normality as soon as possible.
Regards
